Introduction

China National Fibre Quality Supervision and Inspection Centre is a non-profit professional organization approved by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) to provide the services of testing, inspecting and arbitration of the fibre quality and the testing of qualities and performances of textile and clothing products for industry, trade and consumer organizations.  The center is the found-member of China Fibre Testing Union (CFT) and accredited by China National Accreditation of Laboratories and appointed by China Certification Committee for Environmental Labelling Products.  As a member of Interwoollabs and with the relationship of Faserinstitute Bremen the centre participates the international Round-test frequently.

The fibre section operates a laboratory for testing the physical properties of fibre materials including cotton, wool, flax, silk and chemical fibre with an extensive range of equipment.

The textile laboratory is equipped for mechanical and electronic testing of yarns, ply yarns, fabrics and garments.

With the help of textile chemistry questions concerning compositions of material, color fastness, behavior at use, analyses regarding damages can be solved.  The analytical chemistry department deals with qualitative and quantitative analysis – with the help of the most modern instruments and special procedures.

Eco-textile testing laboratory tests the following parameters according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100:
